Arts Academy at South Mountain (AASM) provides its surrounding communities with a positive, arts rich, academic
environment for Kindergarten through 8th grade students. Students enrolled at AASM will experience a dynamic
curriculum that fosters scholastic achievement as well as character development.
AASM is a modest size campus that offers its students a full spectrum of integrated and elective arts instruction.
The core curriculum of this campus integrates music, dance, drama, and visual arts with the academics. This curriculum
design has earned AASM a Performing rating from the Arizona Department of Education.
Sharing its facilities with Early Childhood Arts Academy affords AASM and the PLC family the ability to offer your
family educational experiences for ages 3 through 8th grade.
As with all PLC academies, AASM is a closed campus. All visitors are required to sign in at the office before being
granted access to the campus during the school day.
