Arts Academy at Estrella Mountain (AAEM) provides its surrounding communities with a positive, arts rich,
academic environment for Kindergarten through 8th grade students. Students enrolled at AAEM will experience
a dynamic curriculum that fosters scholastic achievement as well as character development.
AAEM’s size provides its students with the widest spectrum of integrated and elective arts instruction among all
PLC’s Phoenix area campuses. This integration of music, dance, drama and the visual arts with the core academic
curriculum at AAEM has earned this campus a Performing Plus rating from the Arizona Department of Education.
All classroom doors at AAEM open to an enclosed courtyard designed for safe play. As with all PLC academies,
AAEM is a closed campus. All visitors are required to sign in at the office before being granted access to
the campus during the school day.
